Do you love books, like people and are an organising superstar? Then we want you to come help us grow the best online store for books in South Africa. You will need to be able to make order out of chaos, problem solve and take initiative. You can’t rely on other people to tell you how to get stuff done. We are looking for a methodical mind with an eye for detail and who knows how to talk to customers. This role suits a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting environment and can manage themselves and their own time.
This is a part time role to start but we are hoping if you are fit for the company that it could grow into a full time role. You will be helping us with updating of our orders pipeline, the logistical work of receiving, packaging and shipping packages to customers and finally replying to customer queries and in a customer success drive to get them the books they want.
This is a fully remote role. You will be able to do it from home, you will need your own laptop, home printer and internet connection.
Though it is only part time you will need to be able to answer customer queries at any time for the day and be available to receive delivery of books.
Remuneration: As this is part time contract work we will begin at R5000 a month but if our orders and support tickets grow as we emerge from this pandemic we would like to increase the role’s responsibility and pay. It could grow into a full time roll. As this is a role where work only needs to be done when a support ticket comes in or a package delivered it is ideal for someone who is already working from home on a part time job. Support tickets will come in at various points of the day and will need to be responded to within the hour. Only a few supplier shipments will arrive in a week. And customers dispatched currently only happen once a week on a Monday.
